Yousef Jaber

Exercise Physiologist

Yousef graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and completed his Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at ACU. His passion for exercise physiology was born from personal experience—recovering from an injury and working with an exercise physiologist himself opened his eyes to the power of movement as medicine. This experience led him to pursue a career where he could help others recover, thrive, and regain confidence through tailored exercise interventions.

Yousef has developed a strong interest in working with clients facing mental health challenges and those on the autism spectrum (ASD). He is committed to creating supportive, inclusive, and empowering environments where clients feel safe, understood, and capable. His approach is grounded in empathy and individualised care, with a deep understanding of how exercise can positively influence both physical and emotional wellbeing.

With a background in both hydrotherapy and gym-based rehabilitation, Yousef has worked with a wide range of clients—including children, individuals with neurological and chronic conditions, and those managing mental health concerns. He takes pride in his ability to adapt his exercise prescription style to suit each person, blending evidence-based strategies with a holistic view that extends beyond the gym, promoting lasting healthy habits and behaviours.

An avid lover of sport, Yousef enjoys mixed martial arts, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, volleyball, and esports. Outside of work, he stays active with friends—bouldering, playing soccer and volleyball—or winds down with video games and anime. A massive fan of Tekken and One Piece, Yousef believes in balance and fun as key parts of a healthy lifestyle. His approachable and inclusive personality allows him to connect with people from all walks of life, helping each client feel seen, supported, and empowered in their health journey.
