You don’t need a referral to see our physiotherapists. If you have private health we can swipe your health fund card through our HICAPS machine and you only need pay a gap.
We are a HCF More for Muscles provider for physiotherapy. You may have a ‘no gap’ initial consultation if you meet the HCF eligibility criteria.

In some instances, you may be referred under a Chronic Disease Management Plan by your GP. To qualify you need to meet Medicare guidelines, and your eligibility is strictly determined by your doctor. If you attend our practice under a TCA you may be eligible for a rebate for up to five visits per calendar year for physiotherapy or exercise physiology to manage your chronic condition.
If you have Type 2 Diabetes you may be eligible for a further referral called “Group allied health service for patients with Type 2 Diabetes.” With this referral you may access an additional individual appointment for exercise physiology services and up to 8 exercise physiology-led group services a year.
Once you have paid the fee for your heathcare, our friendly admin staff will process the appropriate rebate back to your debit card. This is compliant with Medicare regulations and ensures your fee is reflected against your Medicare safety net.

We accept referrals under DVA for both physiotherapy and exercise physiology. To be treated under DVA you must have an appropriate referral from your GP which includes the details of your DVA card, and the condition for which you are being treated. This can be on a D904 referral or a letter from the GP which has these elements included.
If you are a white card holder you may only be treated for your accepted injury. It is really useful if you could bring your letter of accepted conditions with you to your first appointment if you have access to it.
If you have a Gold Card with TPI on it we can see you for a year under your referral if it is clinically necessary, for physiotherapy or exercise physiology services, including hydrotherapy.
You can attend clinically appropriate exercise classes after having an individual assessment and a treatment plan. Please bring your DVA card along with the referral to your initial appointment and don’t forget to bring any X-Rays or Scans to your initial visit.
We can provide treatment for Workcover injuries if you have a current Workcover Capacity Certificate from your Doctor which certifies your injury and requests physiotherapy treatment or exercise physiology services. Please make sure your certificate is up to date at all times while you are being treated.
You also need to have lodged a claim with Workcover before attending our clinic and must provide us with a relevant Workcover Claim number before attending.

It is important to begin treatment as soon as practicable after an accident. While we know this isn’t always possible due to financial constraints, early treatment can help prevent your injury from becoming chronic and debilitating.
If you have been recently injured in a motor vehicle accident (MVA) you may be able to access therapy through your CTP insurer. For CTP claims we need a referral from a GP outlining all of your injuries. We also need approval from your CTP insurer that they accept to pay the account before we can bill them directly.
If you need treatment and these steps are not in place, you can still begin your treatment. In this case you will need to pay your accounts privately and submit them to your insurer for reimbursement if eligible.
All of our physiotherapists are qualified Injurynet providers and can provide rehabilitation care to workers from Aldi, Australia Post, Wesfarmers and Woolworths.
You will need a referral from an Injurynet qualified GP. Please make sure your certificate is up to date at all times while you are being treated. If you are an NDIS participant and have available funding under your plan for Improved Daily Living (IDL) or Improved Health and Wellbeing (IHWB) we are able to help you managed your NDIS approved condition with physiotherapy and exercise physiology in the pool or the clinic.

Some useful information we require are your plan dates, your goals, your accepted disability, and information whether your IDL or IHWB categories are flexible or stated. If you have a Support at Home package from My Aged Care we are able to work with your care provider to provide therapy services for your health and well-being so that you can stay at home longer. We have existing arrangements as Associate Providers for many local services including Feros Care, Dove Homecare, Lutheran Care, Carinity Care, Heather Hill Home Care, Ram Home Care and many more. It takes just a few days to set up an arrangement for you to access our services. We provide individual or group physiotherapy, exercise physiology and hydrotherapy sessions to our aged care participants to help improve your strength and quality of life.
